Towson University is hosting Hostile Terrain 94, a participatory art exhibition sponsored and organized by the Undocumented Migration Project. This exhibit consists of over 3,000 toe tags that document individual migrants who perished crossing the Mexican/U.S. border. These toe tags are then placed on a large map of the border in the locations where each person's remains were recovered.
The exhibition is on display on the main floor of Cook Library, by the group study cubicles.
Individuals who are interested in completing toe tags to be part of the exhibition can obtain tags at the Help Desk on the main floor of Cook Library between November 2 and December 9.
Groups or classes who are interested in completing tags should contact Librarian Joyce Garczynski at jgarczynski@towson.edu to set up a program.
